Gabriel "Gabe" O. Frederick, of Lancaster, was speeding on a 2008 Kawaski ZX1400 Motorcycle just before 10 a.m. when he went off the shoulder of I-83 in Lower Paxton at the exit 51A ramp, according to the state police.

His exact speed was not released but police did detail what they say happened in the crash— which started when he skid across the grass "and became airborne approximately three times before coming to an uncontrolled rest on the grassy shoulder of the ramp."

Frederick was thrown from the motocycle and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dauphin County Coroner’s Office, PSP said.
